Matthew S. Ramsey , Chairman of the Board

Matthew S. Ramsey has served as a Sunoco LP Director since August 2014 and as our Chairman of the Board since April 2015. He is President of RPM Exploration, Ltd., a private oil and gas exploration partnership generating and drilling prospects on the Texas Gulf Coast. He is also President of Ramsey Energy Management, LLC, the General Partner of Ramsey Energy Partners, I, Ltd.; of Dollarhide Management, LLC, the General Partner of Deerwood Investments, Ltd.; and of Gateshead Oil, LLC, all of which are private oil and gas partnerships. Previously, Mr. Ramsey was President of DDD Energy, Inc. until its sale in 2002. From 1996 to 2000, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OEC Compression Corporation, Inc., a publicly traded oil field service company. Earlier, he was Vice President of Nuevo Energy Company, a publicly traded independent E&P company. Additionally, he was employed by Torch Energy Advisors, Inc., last serving as Executive Vice President. Mr. Ramsey also serves on the Boards of Directors of Energy Transfer Equity, L.P., and of RSP Permian, Inc. He previously served as a Director of Southern Union Company and Regency Energy Partners LP. Mr. Ramsey holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Robert W. Owens , President and Chief Executive Officer

Robert W. Owens has served as a Director and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunoco LP since August 2014. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing of Sunoco Inc., which was acquired by Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. in 2012. In this role, Mr. Owens was responsible for the Sunoco Retail network; all commercial supply and trading activities involving crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals; as well as wholesale marketing and transportation operations for the company. Prior to joining Sunoco Inc. in 1997, he held executive positions at Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, Amerada Hess and Mobil Oil Corporation. Mr. Owens holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from California Polytechnic State University and a M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

James W. Bryant , Director

James W. Bryant has served as a Sunoco LP Director since April 2015. He is a chemical engineer and has more than 40 years of experience in all phases of the natural gas business, specifically in the engineering and management of midstream facilities. Mr. Bryant previous served on the Board of Directors of Regency Energy Partners LP from July 2010 to April 2015 and was Chairman of the Board from April 2014 to April 2015. He also served as a partner and member of the Board of Directors for Cardinal Midstream, LLC from September 2008 until April 2013, and since then formed JWB Cardinal Investments. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Cardinal Gas Solutions LP and Regency Gas Services, LLC. Mr. Bryant received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Bryant serves on Sunoco LP’s Audit Committee.

Christopher R. Curia , Director

Christopher R. Curia has served as a Sunoco LP Director since August 2014. He joined Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. in July 2008 and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. Prior to joining Energy Transfer, Mr. Curia held HR leadership positions at both Valero Energy Corporation and Pennzoil and brings with him more than three decades of Human Resources experience in the oil and gas field. He also has several years’ experience in the retail sector of the energy industry. He earned a master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of West Virginia.

Thomas E. Long , Director

Thomas E. Long has served as a Sunoco LP Director since May 2016. Mr. Long has served as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. since February 2016 and as the Chief Financial Officer of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. since April 2015. Prior to joining Energy Transfer, Mr. Long served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Regency Energy Partners LP since December 2010, where he was responsible for all financial aspects of the company. From May 2008 to November 2010, Mr. Long served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Matrix Service Company. Prior to joining Matrix, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DCP Midstream Partners, LP. From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Long served in several executive positions with subsidiaries of Duke Energy Corp., one of the nation’s largest electric power companies. Mr. Long has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brett Smith , Director

Brett Smith has been a Sunoco LP Director since March 2016. He has served as President and Managing Partner of Rubicon Oil & Gas, LLC, since October 2000. He has also served as President of Rubicon Oil & Gas II, LP since May 2005; of Quientesa Royalty since February 2005; and of Acton Energy LP since October 2008. Mr. Smith was President of Rubicon Oil & Gas, LP from October 2000 to May 2005. Previously, Mr. Smith served as Vice President with Collins & Ware, Inc. from 1988 to September 2000 and was responsible for land and exploration since the firm’s inception. For more than 30 years he has been active in assembling exploration prospects in the Permian Basin, Oklahoma, New Mexico and the Rocky Mountain areas. Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas and has served on the board of the Longhorn Foundation Advisory Council since 2007 and the University of Texas Development Board since 2012. Mr. Smith serves on Sunoco LP’s Audit Committee and Compensation Committee.

K. Rick Turner , Director

Rick Turner has served as a Sunoco LP Director since August 2014. He is currently a Managing Director of Altos Energy Partners and previously was a private equity executive with several groups after having retired from the Stephens’ family entities, where he had worked since 1983. He first became a private equity principal in 1990 after serving as the Assistant to the Chairman, Jackson T. Stephens. Mr. Turner’s areas of focus have been the oil and gas exploration, natural gas gathering and processing industries, and power technology. Prior to joining Stephens, he was employed by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company. Mr. Turner also serves on the Board of Directors of Energy Transfer Equity, L.P., and is a Director of TMI, LLC and AmeriGas Partners LP. He earned a B.S.B.A. from the University of Arkansas and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Turner serves as Chairman of the Audit and Compensation committees.
